This is video is one of those that are really “rare”/hard to find! As you might know, it’s quite hard to find this kind of recordings (from their first shows), so thanks to Flebbie for sharing his recordings with us!. This clip is a mixture of songs, and the most important thing, it includes Veniality, a song that Epica has rarely played live (only a few times in those days, and during the 5-year anniversary show for ‘The Phantom Agony’ -2008-).
Este es un video de esos que son difíciles de encontrar! Como algunos de ustedes sabrán, es bastante difícil encontrar este tipo de grabaciones (las de sus primeros recitales), así que muchísimas gracias a Flebbie por compartir esto con nosotros!. Este clip es una mezcla de canciones, y lo más importante, incluye Veniality, una canción que Epica raramente ha tocado en vivo (tan sólo algunas veces en esos recitales y en el recital de aniversario de 5 años de ‘The Phantom Agony’ en el 2008).

We’ve just re-uploaded the Trois Vierges Acoustic Video @ Fame Store (The Netherlands), due to some problems with the link (thanks to Pendi & Jonas, who told us about it).
And unfortunately, the links for The Classical Conspiracy (Classical & Soundtrack Songs set) bootleg were deleted some time ago due to copyright reasons, sorry for any inconvenience! Although it was just a bootleg and they had allowed the audience to record that part of the show; we’ve just got the info that The Classical Conspiracy will be released in a few months, and it will finally include that part of the set, too.
Volvimos a subir el video acústico de Trois Vierges en el local “Fame” de Holanda, debido a que habían surgido algunos problemas con el link (gracias a Pendi y Jonas, que nos comentaron sobre lo sucedido).
Y desafortunadamente, los links para The Classical Conspiracy (El set de canciones clásicas y de bandas de sonido) fueron borrados hace unas semanas debido a razones de “derechos de autor”, disculpamos las molestias! Aunque era tan solo una grabación no oficial y estaba permitido grabar esa parte del recital, acabamos de informarnos que en unos meses se lanzará The Classical Conspiracy, y que el CD (no-DVD) incluirá finalmente esa parte del setlist también.

In June 2008, Epica performed with an orchestra. This show has been, for sure, one of their most important highlights in their career. Yves told us on our interview with him last September that they would release an album with the recordings from the show if they could. All we’ve got are unnoficial recordings by the fans from the ‘classical’ set, (they divided the concert in two parts, one with classical/soundtrack songs and another one with Epica songs) because they only allowed the audience to record that part. (So we guess that if they release an album, it’ll be mainly about the Epica songs).
En Junio 2008, Epica dió un recital con una orquesta y un coro. Este show ha sido, seguramente, uno de los hechos más importantes en toda su carrera. Yves nos contó en nuestra entrevista en septiembre que lanzarían un album con las grabaciones del recital si podían. Todo lo que tenemos son grabaciones no-oficiales hechas por fanáticos, del set clásico (dividieron el concierto en dos partes, uno con canciones clásicas/bandas de sonido, y otro con canciones de Epica) porque sólo permitieron que la audiencia grabe esa parte. (Así que suponemos que si lanzan un album, será principalmente de las cancioens de Epica).

Note. This was the first of two shows they did in Mexico City. They played a regular set for this show, whereas in the next show they played the whole ‘the Phantom Agony’ album plus another acoustic set. Also, as you might notice there’s an incomplete version of “Sensorium” because a fan threw a present to the stage and unfortunately it hit on one of the Simone’s eyes, so they interrumpted the performance.
Nota. Éste fue el primero de dos recitales en la Ciudad de México. Tocaron un set común para este show, mientras que en el que le siguió tocaron el disco ‘The Phantom Agony’ completo más un acústico. Además, como podrán ver, hay una versión incompleta de “Sensorium”, porque un fanático tiró un regalo al escenario y desafortunadamente éste golpeó en uno de los ojos de Simone, así que interrumpieron la actuación.
